The Japanese term "Reiki" refers to the "universal life energy".
When translating, "Rei" means soul, innermost, all-embracing. "Ki" means inner essence, the sum of all characteristics of a person. At the same time it also describes the energetic radiation of a being, of something existing, its "life energy". If both syllables are connected together, a simplified explanation would be the term "spiritual essence", "comprehensive energy", "universal life energy" or "holistic energy".
This tradition was founded by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century and evolved as a result of his research, experience and dedication. Reiki treatment consists of laying the hands on the body in a prescribed pattern and allowing the energy of life to flow through the hands to the person or animal being treated. The basic element of life energy is the essence of this healing practice. Because this is so, Reiki can be used in any situation where there is a desire for and openness to healing.
Reiki balances body and mind and works on all levels-physically, mentally and emotionally.
Reiki promotes self-healing, strengthens the body and mind, dissolves blockages, purifies toxins, balances the power centers (chakras) and energy channels (meridians), restores harmony and flows in unlimited quantities. Reiki teaches spiritual growth, transformation, and spiritual blessing. Reiki is thus an immeasurable gift for us.
There is no exact explanation just how Reiki works - It just works. .Reiki stimulates self-healing powers and connects body, mind and soul. Through Reiki, our innermost mind is reminded of this originality - something that has always been and always will be there. The free will of the Reiki recipient is never affected by the Reiki energy. The Reiki energy flows in a treatment where it is needed most and how it is appropriate for the recipient.

Reiki is a system that allows anyone who wants to receive and transmit energy. It can be learned by everyone. Reiki respects the free will of the recipient and supports self-healing processes. It is a helpful tool for personal development and is always there for you - once you've learned it, you can use it until the end of your days.
Reiki is a holistic system that takes into account body, mind and soul - at the same time it can easily be integrated into many other treatments. Please keep in mind that Reiki is not replacing medical treatments. It compliments them. You also don't need to be ill to experience benefits from Reiki.
Reiki - One On One
In the comfort of my studio, you will be able to relax in a tranquil environment. This session is for you, whether you just want to relax or need healing. Reiki will know exactly what is needed. The Reiki energy flows in a treatment where it is needed most and how it is appropriate for you. It is a safe and gentle hands-on healing treatment. This will leave you energized, relaxed, and with a general feeling of well-being.
Distance Reiki
This any form of healing energy "sent" across time and space,that is received and has a healing effect on the recipient. With this type of work, you do not have to be physically present with the healer.
Reiki knows no distance or boundaries and therefore the healing light and energy can be send across the world. Distance Reiki works in much the same way as if you and I would have a session together. All I ask of you that we can schedule this session when you have time to relax and meditate, although this is not a necessity for Reiki to work. This will just allow you to feel the healing benefits of Reiki.
Reiki For Expecting Women
This is an amazing experience for me as the practitioner as well as you and your baby. When a woman is pregnant, we become a lot more susceptible to energy because of all the changes in our body and the energy of the little baby growing inside of you. You may call it mothering instinct. I will call it simply energy between you and the baby. It is a very exciting time!
Reiki provides emotional as well as physical support throughout the entire pregnancy. It creates a balanced, loving and harmonious relationship between the mother and the child. Reiki practiced in the early days of pregnancy helps reduce exhaustion and nausea.
Reiki For Babies
Babies can benefit greatly from Reiki treatments, and so do their families. There is a feeling of helplessness when a baby cries or is in the NICU. Reiki comforts babies to reduce crying and fussing in a way that quiets the house and calms distraught parents. Benefits of regular Reiki for your baby includes pain relieve and fussiness, teething, childhood falls, illnesses, aids in sleeping, growing pains, colic, nasal congestion and it will create overall well-being of you and your baby.

I am able to teach you how to use Reiki to heal yourself, how to use Reiki on your baby, on your family and how you can help others.
You will be attuned to Reiki energy, connecting you to this incredible source of love, light and energy and opened to the flow of Reiki enabling you to channel its energy to others . You will also be taught how to allow this divine gift to come from the light above, through your heart, and out your hands.
All attunements are done in person only and you will receive a certificate of completion.

Reiki Attunement for Mom, Dad & Baby
This is specifically created for families. This attunement allows you to focus on yourself and your baby. Babies can benefit greatly from Reiki treatments, and so do their families.
There is a feeling of helplessness when baby cries or is ill. Reiki comforts babies to reduce crying and fussing in a way that quiets the house and calms distraught parents.
On completion of this class you will be to give Reiki to yourself and your baby, know how to breathe and do a light meditation.
You will also be able to help relieve pain and fussiness, childhood falls, illnesses, aid in sleeping, growing pains, colic, nasal congestion and it will create overall well-being for your family.
Your baby does not need to show any of the above symptoms in order to benefit from Reiki. Reiki can just become a day to day routine of you caring for your little bundle of joy. And aid in bringing harmony and calm to your home.
Reiki Level 1
On completion of the class, you will be able to give Reiki treatments to yourself.
In this level you will learn: the nature of Reiki energy and ideals, the complete hand placement system, how to give Reiki to yourself, how to breathe, light meditation, the Reiki symbol for level I and how to draw, activate and use it. The uses of this symbol is explained and its inner meaning is discussed.
Practice time is given so the student knows from experience how the energy of this symbol feels and the results this symbol produces.
Reiki Level 2
Reiki Level 1 is a prerequisite. On completion of the class, you will be able to give Reiki treatments to yourself and others. You will learn: the nature of Reiki energy, ideals are and the complete hand placement system reviewed, giving Reiki to yourself, meditation, scanning - using the sensitivity in the hands to locate areas needing healing and to treat them, using inner guidance to know how and where to treat, dry bathing, a method to purify your energy field, using the breath to heal, sending Reiki at a distance. You will also receive Reiki Level 2 symbols - how to draw, activate and use them. Their many uses are explained and their inner meaning is discussed.
Practice time is given so the student knows from experience how the energy of each symbols feels and the results each symbol produces.
Reiki Master
Reiki Level 2 a prerequisite. The Reiki Master attunement is for those that desire to take their Reiki to the next level, continue to practice by the Reiki principles and wanting to be able to attune others. In this class you review the nature of Reiki energy and ideals, the complete hand placement system, giving Reiki to yourself, meditation, scanning, inner guidance, dry bathing, breathing and sending reiki. All symbols are reviewed and uses are explained and their inner meaning is discussed. Additional the Master symbols are given - how to draw, activate and use them. Practice time is given so the student knows from experience how the energy of each symbols feels and the results each symbol produces.
